ITINERARY
Day 1: Victoria Falls
Ilala Lodge
On arrival at Victoria Falls Airport you will be met and transferred to your accommodation, where you will spend the next two nights. The rest of the day will be at your leisure, to relax beside the pool or participate in some of the optional activities available, such as a helicopter flight over the Victoria Falls. This first night you will have the pleasure of enjoying a tasteful and satisfying dinner at Ilala Lodge.
Overnight: Ilala Lodge or similar (Rooms with private bathroom, pool, restaurant and bar area)
Meals: Dinner
Day 2: Victoria Falls
Today you will take a guided tour of the mighty Victoria Falls and have the rest of the afternoon at your leisure to explore the town or participate in the various optional activities available. In the evening you will enjoy a spectacular sunset cruise on the Zambezi River.

Day 3: Victoria Falls – Hwange
Elephant’s Eye Lodge
After breakfast a road transfer will take you to Elephant’s Eye, Hwange Eco-Lodge, which is situated 13 km from the main camp of Hwange National Park. After arrival, you can either relax on your private veranda or in the pool area, before your first activity. Choose between a game drive in the Hwange National Park or on the Elephant’s Eye, private concession. Alternatively you can join a visit to a local village, where locals will host you and share some information on their lifestyle.
Overnight: Elephant’s Eye, Hwange (Chalets with open-plan bathroom, double basins and outdoor shower, private veranda, fireplace, pool, restaurant and bar area, viewing deck)

Day 4: Hwange National Park
Today is spent on a game drive in the Hwange National Park, the largest national park in Zimbabwe, covering an area of approximately 14 650 km2. Named after a local chief, Hwange is situated in the northwest corner of the country about one hour south of the Victoria Falls. Because of its close proximity to the Falls, Hwange boasts an incredible biodiversity of flora and fauna, and a plethora of African wildlife.
There are over 100 species of mammals and nearly 400 bird species recorded here. Specifically, the elephant population in Hwange is considered world famous, as it is one of the largest in the world. Experience parts of this national park on game drives and you will discover a variety of animals, including some predators among them.

Day 5: Hwange
This morning you will go on a game drive to continue your search for the African wildlife. The afternoon is at your leisure, either beside the swimming pool, having sundowners on the viewing deck or participating in some of the optional activities available.
Overnight: Elephant’s Eye, Hwange
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Day 6: Departure
Enjoy your last breakfast at our lodge before your 2½ hour drive back to Victoria Falls Airport, where you embark on your onward journey.

ACTIVITY INFORMATION
Ra-Ikane Cruise
The Ra-Ikane boat was named after one of David Livingstone’s guide who led him to the Victoria Falls. The boat was hand made and is luxuriously finished with teak superstructure, brass fittings and club chairs, providing guests with a taste of Victorian splendour in the heart of Africa. The boat also has a bar and toilet on board.
The cruise is on the Zambezi River, and you will definitely experience a spectacular sunset, natural beauty and many animal sightings.
To ensure all guests are satisfied, the boat is staffed with a boat captain, guide, hostess and a waiter.
