Kapula North Camp is a completely self- catering lodge that can accommodate up to 10 adults and 8 children in 4 luxury safari tents, on raised wooden decks.

Each tent has en-suite bathrooms with an added shower outside. Equipped with either twin beds or king beds, up to an additional 2 mattresses may be added per tent for children. Bedding, towels and mosquito nets are provided.

Kapula North Camp’s main building is located in the centre of the camp on a raised platform and houses the lounge and dining room. Table configuration can be one 12 seater table or 2×6 seaters. A 360-degree view is available of the Kapula vlei and waterhole. Available for use is a fully equipped kitchen with a gas stove/oven, 2 fridges, freezer, pots/pans, and all the crockery/cutlery required. A fire pit is near the main building.

Solar-powered lighting and appliances are provided but no plug points are available in the tents. A main plug point is available in the main area where cell phones, laptops, and camera batteries may be charged. No cell or internet reception is available but a satellite phone is available for emergency use, at a cost.

Tap water is sourced from a borehole, is regularly tested, and is safe to drink.

Limited firewood is provided for the donkey hot water boilers and fire pit.

Guests are required to bring and prepare all their own food and drink.

As Kapula North Camp is completely self-catering, they do not provide any transfers or game drives/walks. Guests are required to travel in their own / rented vehicle and explore Hwange Park using their own transport. A licensed Park ranger/scout can be booked by the office on the guests’ behalf if arranged well in advance.

There are staff available at Kapula North Camp to clean and maintain the tents and the main areas daily.
