Day 1: Victoria Falls – Victoria Falls Safari Lodge

On arrival at Victoria Falls airport, you will be met by a representative of Silver Tours who will transfer you to Victoria Falls Safari Lodge where you will spend the first two nights of your safari on Bed & Breakfast basis.

Victoria Falls Safari Lodge – 4 *

Set on a high plateau that forms the boundary of the unfenced Zambezi National Park, the Victoria Falls Safari Lodge is four kilometers from Victoria Falls. It is a deluxe African lodge that offers guests excellent uninterrupted views of the National park and easy access to Victoria Falls. Designed with thatch roofs, hardwoods, and vibrant colors, guests to this lodge will enjoy everything about Victoria Falls Safari Lodge. The main lodge building faces a waterhole that offers guests numerous sightings of the wildlife as they pass through the area into the wild bushveld.

The resort is built around the existing trees and natural African landscape and the owners and staff are extremely eco-friendly, caring about their environment and the animals that live on it. Rooms are equipped with safes, IDD phones, air conditioning, hairdryers, fans, mosquito nets, complimentary tea and coffee making facilities, and extra-length beds. The deluxe Victoria Falls Safari Lodge prides itself on hospitality and food rivaled only by uninterrupted views and magnificent sunsets.

Evening – Experience new tastes, indulge in unusual flavours, and enjoy delectable dishes at The Palm Restaurant in view of the spray of the majestic Victoria Falls. Dinner has been pre-booked for you at “The Palm restaurant” at Ilala lodge: The Palm is an award-winning restaurant. Please reconfirm on arrival and book time for the table. Transfers from Victoria Falls Safari Lodge to the Palm restaurant are included.

Day 2: This morning you will be collected outside the reception area by Silver Tours for your Guided Tour of the Victoria Falls – you will have to pay the entrance to the falls U$30 per/person on arrival to the actual Falls

At 1600hrs you will be collected by Zambezi Wilderness Safaris outside Victoria Safari Lodge reception area for your sunset cruise on the luxury Ra-Ikane, sipping Gin & Tonics as the sun sets on the mighty Zambezi.

Dinner has been booked for you at the Boma restaurant which offers a unique blend of traditional foods & entertainment. – Drinks at the Boma are for your own account.

Day 3 – 6: After breakfast, you will be collected from Victoria Falls Safari Lodge for your onward road transfer which will take approx. 2 ½ hours to Khulu Lodge – Hwange, this is where you will spend the next 3 nights of your safari adventure.

Khulu Ivory Lodge

Khulu Ivory “Grandfather of Ivory” is located on a private concession of 6,000 acres. Khulu overlooks an ancient riverbed, in today’s terms called a ‘vlei’ and the waterhole in this vlei is known to attract a variety of the greatest wildlife and birdlife in Hwange National Park. Designed for those who are looking for a real escape, Khulu caters for no more than twelve guests at a time.

This intimate camp comprises of three bespoke thatched safari-style suites built onto platforms. The rooms are well-appointed and each is designed in a modern contemporary style. Each suite has an indoor and outdoor shower, a balcony for game viewing, and individual tea and coffee-making facilities.

The beds are twins but can be converted to super king size for double occupancy. Khulu has been carefully designed to have minimal impact on its surroundings and the environment. Khulu’s main area has a full bar and provides a wide variety of local and imported beverages. There is a plunge pool located on the deck of the main area, as well as a raised fire pit for stargazing and nightcaps. Khulu Ivory offers guests guided game viewing on the private concession and/or in the National Park. Activities on offer are; half or full-day game drives, night drives, visits to the Painted Dog Conservation Centre, walking safaris, pan/hide sits and game counts (on request).

Day 6 Khulu Ivory Lodge – Victoria Falls Airport

After coffee, rusks & cereals you will leave camp for your transfer to Victoria Falls airport in time for your onward flight.
