Kanga Tented Camp is set in the heart of the superb Mana Pools National Park offering tented accommodation. Mana Pools is famous for its elephants and stunning trees.

The main camp area is set on decking overlooking the pan where animals come in to drink. The decking at Kanga Tented Camp has a relaxing lounge area under the shade of large trees which overlooks a splash pool and the pan.

You have the choice of taking game drives in open-topped four-wheel drive vehicles or taking the walking experience with professional guides. The opportunity to leave one’s vehicle and track game on foot is a rare experience in the national parks of Africa. This exceptional activity provides the visitor with the chance to track game with an experienced professional guide in safety.

Other activities at Kanga Tented Camp include night drives and canoeing, which is organised on request. Game is abundant on the flood plains and in the Mopane woodlands. The famous Kanga Pan attracts game in large concentrations as it is the only water found in the floodplain above the river. Predators are often sighted including Lion, Wild Dog and Leopard and large concentrations of buffalo can be found in the Mopane woodland and open plains featuring Ilala Palms.

There is a maximum of 12 guests at any one time at Kanga Tented Camp – this includes a family tent.
